This 100% natural raffia bag is dyed using vegetable dyes. The Caramel color is created with a mixture of turmeric and yellow onion. Each piece takes approximately 8 hours to weave by hand.

Subtle variations in color and weave are to be expected - and celebrated - as part of each piece's natural beauty.  These differences reflect the hands that made them and the spirit of traditional craft.

Fabric + Care Instructions

100% Raffia
To ensure your bag stays in great condition, please avoid water and prolonged sun exposure. Spot clean the raffia using a soft cloth.
Raffia is a natural fiber, and overtime, edges may come loose causing strands to poke out and look a little “messy”. Use a pair of scissors to carefully snip off any fly away strands.
